RIO VIDEO MACHINES FITTED WITH INNOVATIVE NV9 NOTE VALIDATOR & IF10
INTERFACE

CRITICAL SECURITY INFORMATION

We can now advise that Innovative Technology have developed a
solution to protect their NV9 Note Validator’s from attacks when
fitted to our Rio Video cabinets.

This solution involves changing the software in the NV9 note acceptor
to upgrade it to the new eSSP protocol. The innovative IF10 interface
fitted to these machines also needs to be upgraded to an IF10e in
order to work with the upgraded NV9.

The IF10e can be identified by an orange dot on the unit. The
reprogrammed NV9’s can be identified by a sticker saying eSSP on the
units.

The software on Barcrest Group machines fitted with these Innovative
products WILL NOT require updating as a result of this change.
